As I try to exist in this new world order, I have to find a way to resist the hate and fear spread out from this president and his cabinet. The data suppression on our climate, on our economy, on public health and the suppression of and attacks on research and science puts us at an incredible disadvantage internationally. Americans are being lied to on an almost hourly basis. We have lost our republic, we have lost almost every governmental agency that looked out for our health and welfare. We are engaged in a war that no one wanted except big oil and tRump and his sycophants. No one is safer and I have to keep writing about all the inequalities and all the attacks on our social fabric. Even the teachings of christianity have been perverted to frighten us. Military rule and religious fundamentalism are two sides of the same coin. They are both authoritarian and patriarchal. Both have at their base a hatred and fear of women. The fight for women’s equality and freedom must always target racism, bigotry, classism ableism, homophobia and xenophobia. We will not be free until we all are free. Not safe until all people are safe .
